Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped, so no mink die! The fibers are very soft but very short and therefore are often spun together with other fibers so you can knit with it without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand into a lovely shawl or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is moreover hand-dyed - win win......
