Mink yarn comes from minks that are gently sheared so no mink dies! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to prevent the yarn from breaking while knitting. It can be knitted with a single strand to make a lovely shawl or with two strands to make a cozy sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed - win win......
