This lovely fluffy angora yarn comes from French angora farms, all registered with the “Association of French Angora breeders”. The association guarantees good animal welfare on the farms and top-quality wool.
A whole angora sweater is wonderful, but the yarn is also perfect for colourwork together with other yarns such as Merino/Silk. Knit a sweater with a patterned yoke and use the angora yarn for the pattern – that is where it really stands out.
Angora yarn is NOT recommended for babies and young children, as the many fine hairs can get into the airways.
