Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared, so no mink die! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to make yarn that won’t break when knitted. It can be knit with a single strand into a lovely shawl or held double for a cozy sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which is also hand-dyed - win win......
