This blend of fibres produces a very lovely, soft and drapey yarn. It works especially well for shawls, and if you knit sweaters — which you certainly can — be aware that it can stretch 2 - 3 cm in length after some wear. Even though it is a very soft yarn, if you are allergic you should knit a swatch and wear it to test whether you can tolerate it. Alpaca fibres can be tricky for some people, despite being soft.
