Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to make yarn that won't break while knitting. It can be knitted as a single strand into a lovely shawl or held double to make a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a truly unique product that is also hand-dyed - win win......
