Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped so no mink dies! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers to prevent the yarn from breaking when knitting. It can be knit with a single strand into a lovely shawl or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which is also hand-dyed - win win......
