Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers so you can knit with it without the yarn breaking. It can be knit as a single strand into a lovely shawl or held double for a cosy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here, which is also hand-dyed - win win......
