This base is virtually identical to our best-selling base — the regular dark yak we've carried for years. This one is just a little thicker. After cashmere, this yak base is the softest we offer and it's perfect for people with wool allergies, since it contains no sheep's wool and therefore no lanolin, which is often the cause of reactions. This version is somewhat lighter and doesn't drape as heavily as the other base. It's ideal for sweaters, very easy to work with, and gives a lovely, even result.
