Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently sheared so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, which is why they are often spun together with other fibers so the yarn won’t break while knitting. It can be knit with a single strand to make a lovely shawl or with two strands to make a cozy sweater. There isn’t much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here that is also hand-dyed - win win......
