Here you have our absolute luxury item - 100% pure cashmere from Mongolia. It is perfect for smaller projects such as small scarves. Both PetiteKnit and My Favorite Things Knitwear have lovely small scarves that suit this yarn. If you are allergic or very sensitive, you can generally tolerate this yarn well.
The cashmere yarn comes from the cashmere goat that lives in the Himalayan mountains. Each goat ‘produces’ only very small amounts of fleece each year. In addition, the goats live in a vast natural area, which in itself makes access difficult. Therefore the fleece is extremely rare and very valuable. Cashmere has an excellent ability to regulate temperature, so you are neither too warm nor too cold.
